In the middle of Stirling, in front of the council offices, there an area which looks quite out of place, borderline surreal: several acres of ground have been sown with joyful wild flowers as if it were a country meadow. This severe colour contrast of red against green is a challenge to the sensor in my little Samsung NX10. I can’t put my finger on it but it does not look quite right somehow. In a print it has a painterly quality which is rather attractive.
