I’m not sure when the Italians come to their holiday homes, but it certainly is not now. Mostly there is silence behind locked gates, but sometimes there are the sounds of preparation and making-ready for the seasonal occupancy to come. Builders building, maintainance men maintaining, and very occaisionally a gardener trimming a hedge or cutting a lawn. There is nobody around to ask why the seemingy lost British tourist is pointing a camera where tourist cameras are never usually pointed.
