Yesterday we drove the four hundred and fifty miles from Dorset back home to Glasgow.
Moving through the landscape, ever northward, the sun low behind us for most of the way. The wide rectangle of the windscreen frames scene after scene after scene in a continual stream. I can make photographs when it is my turn to move out from behind the wheel and take the passenger seat. Understandably, my wife finds it too dangerously distracting when I hold the camera forward, close to the glass, while she is driving. So I limit my shots. Just one of them works:
